The stage taught him what to teach.
Trained at The Juilliard School on a full scholarship, Andreas Aroditis spent his twenties on New York stages — from Juilliard Opera to a Carnegie Hall competition final — before coming home to Cyprus, where he has sung the tenor solo in Mozart’s Requiem with the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra, teaches voice at two universities, and directs an international summer programme for young singers in Limassol.

One discipline, three rooms
For Andreas, these have never been separate careers. The instincts of a working singer shape every lesson he gives; the questions his students ask keep his own singing honest; and Vocal Excellence carries both to the next generation of singers in Cyprus.
From Beaumarchais in The Ghosts of Versailles at the Aspen Music Festival to the tenor solo in Mozart’s Requiem with the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra — a stage career spanning opera, oratorio, and song on both sides of the Atlantic.
Selected credits →Voice faculty at the University of Nicosia and European University Cyprus since 2017, and coach to singers at every stage — from first lessons in his Limassol studio to conservatoire auditions.
Lessons & coaching →Vocal Excellence, the summer programme he founded in Limassol, brings an international faculty to a cohort of up to thirty singers aged 12–21 — private lessons, masterclasses, and a filmed final performance.
